Continuing on to Central Serengeti, we arrived at the Serengeti Serena Safari Lodge in the afternoon, and we enjoyed late lunch.  This would be our home for the next two nights.  We had a late afternoon game drive and another drive the next day (Day 6) after the balloon safari.

Today is Day 6 in Tanzania, and eight of us are going on a balloon safari at sunrise and a champagne breakfast.  We get up at 4:30 a.m. and ride about an hour to get to the launch site at 6:00 a.m. to enjoy a spectacular sunrise, and then a one-hour flight just over the tree tops.

After the breakfast, we meet up with the rest of the group and have a short game drive before lunch.  After a long lunch break (to avoid the mid-day heat), we go on another game drive.
