Memorial Cenotaph   Area around the A-Bomb Dome has been turned into a Peace Memorial Park.  This is a memorial dedicated to those who were killed by the bomb. The cenotaph, shaped like an ancient Japanese building, frames the A-Bomb Dome. 

The inscription reads "Rest in peace for we shall not repeat the mistakes."

Many tourists from aboard visit this memorial.
