Yosegi-zaiku - here are some examples of Yosegi-zaiku.  Smaller boxes are cleverly constructed with several moving parts in addition to the lid. In order to open the lid, one must move the movable parts in a predetermined sequence. I bought a box that requires 12 steps to open.
