Prague Castle

The elevated site where the current castle stands is about 400 meters above the Vltava River and is naturally protected from all sides, which makes it a strategic point.  Prague Castle is a collection of buildings dating from the 10th to the 20th century, with the most prominent building being the St. Vitus' Cathedral.
