Sydney Opera House
I was glad to be able to see it against blue sky! What a
marvelous sight. On our last night of the trip, we saw a production of
Falstaff, a comic opera by Verdi. The Opera Hall was very small, and
the orchestra looked rather cramped in a small pit, and the stage was very
narrow, but the smallness produced a very cozy feeling for the audience.
I didn't know that the roofs are covered with small tiles!
