Sydney Harbor Bridge  The bridge is 503m (1650 ft) long and is wide enough for 8 lanes of  car traffic.  It was completed in 1932.  We climbed the South East Pylon - the one on the left in the photo -  of the bridge because the guided "bridge climb" that allows one to walk to the top of the arch (134m above water) would have taken us 3.5 hours, including the time required to register and receive orientation. We thought that was far too much time to "waste" for such a short climb.
