Q
What does Agwa. stand for?
What are the parents? How do you spell the complete word? The plant looks
like a Zygopetalum.
A What
you have here is an Alangreatwoodara, which, as you correctly
guessed, is a Zygopetalum relative with Promenaea and Colax,
two related genera included in the artificial hybrid. Culture should be
similar to that given zygopetalums, which during the winter benefit from
extended periods between waterings and not being kept too cool. In the
summer, keep warmer (65-85 F) with moderate light. — Andy
Easton.
