Masdevallia coccinea var. alba ('Blanca' x 'Snowbird') is a very small plants (5~6" high) and require relatively low light and cool temperatures.  To keep the roots cool, I use a double-potting technique.  This is the fifth year of blooming for me; it currently has 21 open flowers and buds.
