Comment: This rare Brazilian species is closely related to the genus Notylia, and it flowers with a 4" pendant spike with around 15-20 flowers. Nigel says "ideal growing conditions are a bit of a mystery right now, although it is doing well for me outside in southern California"  It likes infrequent watering and to dry out
between watering on a mount. Recently initiated two new spikes and one new growth in conditions of 70°, 40% humidity days and 50°, 90% humidity nights. Does not do well at all in constant humidity of 70+% found in typical greenhouses.
