Pleurothallis tuerckheimii

Camera: scanned in.

Comment: Nigel says "this is an easy pleurothallid to grow. Needs intermediate conditions and 60+% humidity. Spikes emerge from the leaf axil and each one has 15-20 small flowers, a bit like a bird`s gaping mouth with it`s tongue stuck out. The flowers are about 0.5" long and similar to Pleuro.restrepioides in structure." See a close-up photo.
