Vanda coerulea

Comment: Adam says "this is an incredibly vigorous plant which has almost doubled in size for me since I got it in April 1999. It is now 22 inches tall, and the flower spike is 23 inches from the leaf axil.  This is it's second flowering and it's probably now getting up to speed flower wise.  Last year it had 7 flowers, this time 13.  Its a 4Nx3N cross obtained from RF Orchids. It is windowsill grown in Washington State using good old natural  sunlight."  See a close-up photo.
